Note: This movie is in Japanese language

The granddaddy of Japanese giant robots continues his adventures in this animated movie! Born in a manga created by revered artist Yokoyama Mitsuteru in 1956, "Tetsujin 28" has starred in four TV anime series since the 1960s. The animated movie version Tetsujin 28 - Morning Moon of Midday was made by the principal cast and crew of the 2004 series and was shown in Japan's theaters in 2007. Written and directed by Imagawa Yasuhiro, the movie is set 10 years after the end of WWII. Junior detective and "Tetsujin 28" operator Kaneda Shotaro meets a young man also named Shotaro, who is trained in operating the giant robot. The namesake is actually the foster son of Kaneda's late father, thus the two Shotaros are brothers. They must find and retrieve their father's other creation, "Ruins Bomb", a weapon of mass destruction that could destroy Tokyo! However, a mysterious figure known as "Morning Moon" confronts Kaneda and attempts to kill him...
