Synopsis
The first to create cartoons by tracing live action footage, producer Max Fleischer and his brother, director Dave Fleischer, used this patented invention to revolutionize animation. More than 600 artists and technicians were employed on each cartoon to bring this magic to the screen, so prepare to be amazed by some of the most dazzling special effects ever!

"Up in the sky-- look! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's ... Superman!" With those word, the legendary comic book hero, created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, flew onto the screen. Voiced by Bud Collyer, Superman appeared in seventeen original cartoon classics created by Fleischer Studios from 1941 to 1943, starting with Superman (aka The Mad Scientist)
