Set In the 1940's, A Matador's Mistress tells the story of the most celebrated bullfighter in Spain, Manuel Rodriguez Sanchez (Adrian Brody), famously known around the world as Manolete. Manolete's life changes when he becomes obsessed with the beautiful and mysterious Lupe Sino (Penelope Cruz). Abounding with passion, romance and ultimately tragedy, A Matador's Mistress is a must see- cinematic tour de force.
Oscar nominated filmmaker Menno Meyjes (The Color Purple, Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade) directs this lavish production filled with breathtaking international locations dazzling cinematography and stunning bullfighting sequences.
