Synopsis
If you don't have a life, get someone else's.
Divorced, disconnected from his son and dissatisfied with his love life, Wallace Avery (Academy Award winner Colin Firth, The King's Speech) decides to make a radical change. He walks away from his old life, forges a new identity and hits the road as Arthur Newman to start over.
But his road trip is derailed by the entrance of mysterious Michaela "Mike" Fitzgerald (Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt, The Devil Wears Prada), whom Arthur discovers passed out poolside at a motel. Mike see through Arthur's identity scam, and soon enough Arthur uncovers hers. Romance blossoms as the unexpected couple infiltrates the lives of random strangers, but is it possible to truly start all over again?
A cross-country odyssey of self-discovery and renewal, Arthur Newman is a comic romance about two unlikely souls who fall in love and find out who they really are.
