Synopsis
More than two decades after dropping out of school, Alice Washington (Cybil Shepherd, Moonlighting) rebounds from a divorce by enrolling in Smith College to fulfill her dream of becoming a teacher. A housing shortage places her with a much younger roommate, rebellious piano student Zoe (Corri English, lead singer of BrokeDown Cadillac), who thinks she has enough difficulty in her life already. Their school year together promises lots of major life changes including a glamorous makeover, a romantic rivalry over their charming poetry teacher (Jeffrey Nordling, Desperate Housewives), and Alice's surprise role on the school's basketball team! Along the way they both get a valuable education neither of them could have possibly expected.
